"My daughter strained her quad muscle during a practice for an upcoming State qualifying gymnastics tournament. The injury happened on Thursday, and this important tournament was going to be in two days. We quickly did R.I.C.E. (rest, ice, compression, elevation) as home treatment, but it didn't improve too much. The expected recovery time for such injury is between 7 to 15 days, and we had about 24 hours.
Marina Poling was able to see my daughter for a last minute appointment (thanks!). Through QE, Marina located and treated the injury. My daughter competed the next day and qualified for the State competition, where she went to achieve an impressive third place. Thank you!"
At this visit, Marina also took the opportunity to check my daughter's back, which showed an injury to her coccyx. She turned to me and asked "Did you tell Marina about that?". I said "No". My daughter replied "Wow, that was neat!". She had hurt her coccyx two weeks prior during a dismount and it was uncovered with Marina's use of QE testing.
